Iyengar Yoga Institute of Los Angeles (IYILA)

The B.K.S. Iyengar Yoga Institute of Los Angeles (IYILA) is the center for Iyengar Yoga studies in Los Angeles. Owned and operated by the Iyengar Yoga Association of So. California, the purpose of the Institute is to "study, teach, disseminate and promote the art, science and philosophy of yoga according to the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar." The staff of IYILA are all certified yoga instructors whose knowledge of the asanas and skills in observing bodies are refined through monthly certified teachers' classes and ongoing study with senior teachers as well as B.K.S., Geeta and Prashant Iyengar.   Website: http://www.iyila.org/
