yoga training in Kerala

I'm looking to find any info on good places in Bangalore/Kerala to spend time either doing a months long teacher training or to stay and practice yoga for a lengh of time. I have considered the sivananda center in Kerala but have found it too expensive to me as a westener. Does anyone know of a place where I can go for a mounth or so in march to deepen my awarenes and practice yoga. If there is anyone planning to go in the new year please share your plans if you can. Thanks x
