I have high BP controlled by meds and have practiced yoga - all poses without any problem for several years - I have been to classes where the teacher is very strict and will not let me do any inverted poses - but these are the very poses which calm and renew me - the golden rule is 1, support your head a little if your neck feels strained or uncomfortable, 2, Never do a pose if it doesn't 'feel' right, 3, trust your own instinctive reaction - you will know when to stop - don't do it, just because the class is doing it. Otherwise I think you can carry on. Yoga helps me enormously! good luck to you!
