Tight hamstrings after a vacation from practice Can't Post

I've been practice Iyengar for about 6 months.Sly I've been following the 20 week course in BSK book for about 4weeks.
I went on vacation and didn't practice for about 3 days, got back home and got back in the groove.
I didn't lose any flexibility, but the pain in my hamstrings, while stretching; forward bend and intense back stretch, seems to be much greater. It does not appear to be bad pain, I know I need to work thur it.
Here's my question: Is this normal? and should I expect more pain if I take a break?

What would seem to be happening is normal. In the same manner that the body is stiffer in the morning than at night so too practicing daily the body is encouraged to be flexible but goes back to being stiffer when there is no practice. When reviving practice practice the easier postures first and be determined but gentle and kind with yourself. Then as you practice your body will come to like you and determination will be a happy experience.
warm regards
