Hi Ben,

I have also your questions. I am searching in the net for the answers... About the vertical distances I found out that it must be 39" (lower) and 81" (upper), but I still didn't find the horizontal distance between then.

Please excuse about my english (I am portuguese), if you find something please tell!

Thanks.

Barbara

Hi Barbara

In Working Plans of the Props used for Iyengar Yoga, Francois Lozier writes that the wall hooks should be 1.5'', 38.5'' and 80'' off the floor. The horizontal distance is 18''. The next set of two is then 25'' away.

I hope this helps.

Ivan

horse dimensions, please [In reply to] Can't Post

Any idea what the dimensions are for a standard Iyengar Yoga Horse.....my carpenter friend are discussing whether we have enough lumber and whether we think we could make one within my budget but have only photos to go off of.

Thanks
Karen

wall ropes - lenght
I am trying to get the lenght of the ropes, according to a booklet I have,
booklet name WORKING PLANS OF THE PROPS USED FOR IYENGA YOGA
at the Mamamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute by Francois Lozier

L x D
blue
86" x .5 (218 cm x 1.27 cm)

red
66" x .625" (168 cm 1.6 cm)
78" x .625 (198cm x 1.6 cm)
120" x .626 (305 x 1.56cm)

NOW, MY QUESTION IS..... THIS LENGHT IS WITHOUT THE KNOT, I BOUGHT A 168 CM ROPE AND AFTER THE KNOW IT LOOKS TOO SHORT, SO I NEED TO CHECK IN THIS.
THE QUESTION IS, WHAT IS THE DIAMETER OF THE ROPE CIRCLE ONCE YOU MADE THE KNOT?????????? I NEED TO FIND OUT.
