Hello Before yoga ( i began practice 10 years ago) , i did a lot of weight training. well, it was a little more difficult when i changed my habits and stop going to the gym, because muscles make asanas more challenging. and now? well, i practice swimming 4 times a week (including butterfly swim) and i practice twice a week push ups and abdominal crunches. i practice yoga 10h/week , and doing some muscle training is not bad at all, i will even say that it is relaxing (tkv desikachar, famous yoga teacher, recommend to do some muscle training when your muscles feel tired to stretch...); but forget about heavy weight training , do some more natural stuff with your body only (pushups, crunches, etc...). have a nice training
