Fibromyalgia Chronic Inflamation and pain. Can't Post

Would anyone have experience /advice for someone who has Fibro?
I live on a very thin line of what I can or can not do.. I am in pain all the time.. but I never quit doing stuff..
Yoga helps, yoga hurts... I can never tell day by day how my activities will effect me . but I keep going trying to get it right.
I know my nervous system is hypersensitive and goes into 'fight or flight" at the slightest sound or bump..
I am strong and flexible and look as fit as can be... yet whatever I do hurt or inflames , its hard to scale back when my body wants to do what it can .
Very strange condition. 19 years of trying to balance my mind spirit,, body and pain.

Thank you

Cinza

I don't have personal experience with your health problem but you may find the following two articles helpful.

http://www.yogajournal.com/practice/1220_1.cfm

http://www.immunesupport.com/...narticle.cfm?ID=6004

Yoga International Magazine had an article about Yoga for Fibromyalgia in their last issue (april/may 2005).

Have you tried to change your diet? Eating fatty fish, flax seeds and walnut oil provide omega 3-fatty acids which have an antiinflammatory effect. You can also increase your intake of antioxidants trough eating a lot of fruits and vegetables. This may also be benefitial.

All the best for you!
