how to restore curve to neck?

A recent x-ray revealed that my neck no longer has the normal curve, but rather is straight or even curved a little bit in the wrong direction. This is likely due to several motor vehicle accidents years ago and whiplash that never fully healed, compounded by sitting at a desk reading and using a computer for long hours. I also have some impingement in my shoulders that makes my shoulder "click" when I bring my arms overhead, and sometimes causes nerve pain/tingling in my hands and arms during backbends. I have recently begun seeing a chiropractor who is adjusting me to help restore the proper curve in my neck. The chiro recommended that I lay with my neck over a rolled towel for 5-10 minutes a day to help coax the muscles into accepting the right shape. I have also begun seeing a physical therapist who gave me exercises to strengthen the rotator muscles. The PT also recommended not doing anything that would put pressure on my shoulders for a month or maybe more. That means no down dog, up dog, plank, handstand, backbends, etc. I've been doing standing poses, making sure to not bring my arms overhead, but I want to be doing something more specific in terms of my yoga practice to work on this neck problem. Are there any asanas that I can do to help restore the proper curve to my neck, without putting undue strain on the shoulders? Any information, advice, web sites, etc. are most appreciated. Thanks! Namaste.
