sacrolumbar pain Can't Post

I am a new teacher and suffer with a chronic pain in the left low side of the sacrum as a result(i think) of a fall 5 years ago. X rays reveal that the pelvis is tilted laterally (higher on the lleft side) I find that teaching tends to aggravate this problem which result in soreness in both sacroilliac joints. Does anyone have any experience of this condition or suggestions please?

I have a very wonky pelvis, too. When I get an imbalance in the sacroiliac joint I find that Ardha Chandrasana is usually a very quick fix to the problem. This is a very powerful pose. Do it with the support of the wall so that you can really work the actions.

Finding balance while teaching is very difficult. Get students to demonstrate the poses if you find it hard to stay present and focused demonstrating them yourself.

Also Prasarita Padottanasana has been helpful for me. For a while I did it supported ie place a bolster along a halasana box, or two or three along a setu bandha bench and lie along it, stretching the legs and lengthening the pubis and inner thighs back but resting the back completely. This helped me get space across the sacro iliac joint.

Also resting jatara parivatanasana - sometimes called supta pasasana... resting bent legs on a bolster. Do both sides.
Also if it is really bad, lie under the trestler, or with back to the wall, and loop a belt from the trestler or wall ring. Lie on your side with the painful side up, put that leg through the belt up to the root of the thigh. Bottom leg straight, top leg bent and supported on one or two bolsters. Stay 10 minutes at least. Bliss!

PS Don't demonstrate the poses at all. It's much more interesting for students to watch students and you won't hurt yourself.
