How do you practice/ progress? Can't Post

Dear All,

First, this forum is a great idea, because it's specific enough to be really interesting - thanks IYR!

I'm interested in finding out your different approaches to long term home practice (supplemental to classes). e.g. does anyone keep practice diaries, or use other methods to make their practice more effective, deeper and successful?

I agree with a previous posting that time scales etc can be injurious, what I'm thinking of is getting out of ruts, bad habits etc.

Thanks

Gabriel

I follow the courses in the back of the book *Yoga the Iyengar Way.* Similar courses are provided in *Light on Yoga.* They give a different lesson for each day, with progressive difficulty. So you can make sure your practice has variety and covers all the bases.

I follow the courses in Yoga the Iyengar way too - but I use the computer to randomly choose a day - found it way to predictable doing them in order!!
