weight issue Can't Post

I want to get fit, strong and healthy and as a result of this...lose some weight. Do you think it's best to lose weight before I start doing yoga regularily or use it with other exercise??? I am a bit overweight at the moment.

Hi Michelle
If you are interested in learning yoga, start now!!
I lost the fat that I had just with yoga. Now I am trying to build up muscle so I have started to do weights.
My advice to you is start your yoga classes, practice at least 3 times a week, and combine it with a type of activity that you enjoy (walking, swimming, whatever!). You will be amazed with the results.
Good luck

If you are able, try jumpings to build strength in the body and asanas like Chaturanga Dandasana.

My suggestion is practice yoga daily no matter how much or how little you feel you can do. Allow yourself to integrate it into everything you do making it a 24/7 practice. Even initial sleeping posture will be Savasana. Best to you both.
