Flat Feet Can't Post

I've recently started yoga and find it great. However, I am flat footed and my foot/ankle over-pronates. I find that this pronation affect my lower structure. I find that I have pain/discomfort in my knees, hips, and back due to this condition. Are there any specific poses or yoga style that are suited to correct/alleviate my flat feet/pronation problem?

Any advice on this subject would be great.

Re: Flat Feet [In reply to] Can't Post

I would work on standing poses. Starting with tadasana. As you practice make sure that your quadriceps are engaged and knee caps lifted. Pay special attention to standing evenly on both feet. On each foot stand evenly on the inner inner heal, the inner outer heal, the big toe ball joint, and the little toe ball joint. Then lift your toes.
