Asanas for Anxiety Relief

I have a student who is quite dedicated to her physical practice. Although we work with pranayama and meditation, these are not her strength. She is currently experiencing intense anxiety and panic. She has little tolerance currently with meditation and pranayama. Could someone please recommend some asanas that may be more effective than others in helping to relieve some of her anxiety. If you could also explain why these asanas, as compared to others, are good choices, I would very much appreciate it. Thank you, in advance, for your input. |
