- How do I get an iyengar-yoga.com/yogimail.com webmail account?
- After you have registered at Iyengar Yoga Resources you can select your email address 'yourname@iyengar-yoga.com' or 'yourname@yogimail.com' in your Private Profile.
- How much does an iyengar-yoga.com/yogimail.com webmail account cost?
- Nothing! Your Iyengar Yoga Resources webmail account is FREE when you register on iyengar-yoga.com (also free!)
- What is my mailbox size limit and how do I manage it?
- Your free Iyengar Yoga Resources Mail account has a storage capacity of 10MB (5 times more than hotmail!). All messages and attachments in any of your folders (including your Trash folder) will count to this limit. The best way to manage your mailbox size is to save large attachments to your PC and delete the original messages from your account. Remember to empty your Trash folder frequently so old deleted messages won't erode your storage capacity. Make a point of managing your mailbox size. All incoming emails will bounce if your mailbox has reached its limit and you may loose those messages. You current mailbox usage will always be shown under your Folders list in the left navigation bar.
- How can I get more storage space?
- You can not get or purchase more storage space at this time. We may add the option to purchase more storage space in the future.
- Can I check my Iyengar Yoga Resources Mail in Outlook or another email client?
- No. Because we don't provide a full POP3 service you can not check your iyengar-yoga.com email in a client like Outlook or Outlook Express. Adding the ability to check your email via POP3 is something we may add in the future. At this time the iyengar-yoga.com web client is the only way to access your Iyengar Yoga Resources Mail messages.
- How does the Remote Mail option work?
- The Remote Mail option under the "Options" menu enables you to check other POP email accounts through your Iyengar Yoga Resources Mail client. You can enter the connection and login information for up to three other accounts. Choose an icon that you want messages from that account to be flagged with and decide whether you want the original messages to be left on your server or removed after checking them with Iyengar Yoga Resources Mail. When you set up a remote mail account a new link to "Check POP Mail" will appear under your Folders list in the left navigation bar. Click on this to check your POP mail at the intervals set in the "Options" menu.
- How can I manage SPAM (junk mail)?
- We have installed very powerful software that will recognize many spam messages. Those messages are automatically moved to your 'Junk' folder. You should empty this folder on a regular basis in order to prevent your account from getting full.
- Why don't you provide an Auto Reply or Mail Forwarding function?
- We do not provide an auto reply function mainly for security reasons. This is something that can easily be abused by spammers. There's a further complication when you send an auto reply to someone who also has an auto reply. The return messages get into a closed cycle of sending each other auto replies and your account will very quickly be shut down due to overload.
