YOG (Youth's Offering to Guruji)

YOG was established in 1996 to bring into fruition the vision of our guru, Yogacharya BKS Iyengar. Guruji, as we fondly call him, is the fountainhead of yoga in its contemporary interpretation as a cultural and evolutionary study - a rediscovery of Man unto himself and its various applications in all disciplines of life, be it in art, science or philosophy.

YOG was set up to raise funds for funding basic research, publications and subsidising teachers to spread Iyengar Yoga in schools. YOG includes everyone in the Iyengar yoga fraternity who contribute in some way towards this vision, either by creating, developing, manufacturing, distributing, or buying products made by YOG.
